Elford Tech Repairs Ltd ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16248619, VAT No. GB496496717), trading from Unit 42 Greendale Farm, Elford, Tamworth, Staffordshire B79 9DJ. We are the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website, over the phone, in-store and during repairs. You can reach us at info@elfordtechrepairs.co.uk or 01827 802164.

• Contact details — name, email, phone number and address when you book a repair, request a quote, place an order or contact us.
• Repair and order details — the device you bring or buy, fault descriptions, service history, invoices and payment records.
• Payment data — card payments are processed by Stripe and Klarna; we never see or store your full card details.
• Business customers — company name, billing contacts and purchase order details.
• Website usage — with your consent, Google Analytics and PostHog collect anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

• To carry out repairs and fulfil orders — performance of a contract.
• To send booking confirmations, repair updates and invoices — performance of a contract.
• To keep accounting and VAT records — legal obligation.
• To send marketing emails only where you have subscribed — consent. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it — consent, managed through the cookie banner.
• To protect against fraud and misuse — legitimate interests.

We only share data with companies that help us run the business:

• Stripe and Klarna — payment processing.
• Zoho — invoicing and bookkeeping records.
• DPD and Royal Mail — delivery of online orders (name, address and contact number).
• Google Analytics and PostHog — website analytics, only with your consent.
• Our email provider — transactional and marketing email delivery.

We never sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, for example by HMRC or a court order.

Repair and order records are kept for six years to meet accounting, warranty and consumer-law requirements. Marketing subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Website analytics data is kept for up to 14 months.

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent (for example to marketing or analytics) at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk — but please talk to us first and we will try to put things right.
